Variations Class

I have some more exciting news!  My teacher, the director, approached me at my latest ballet lesson to ask me a question.  It turns out she was inviting me to the variations class.  At my ballet school there are opportunities to compete, but you have to be enrolled in the variations class.  You can only join this class if the director invites you. 
I'm thrilled, not just because there is a chance I could compete, but also because I'll finally get to learn different dances!  A variation is what a solo in a ballet show is called.  I've been waiting a long time to learn these dances, and I can't wait to start this class.
