Room of a Ballerina

I've danced in my new room twice now.  I love it.
There's so much space in here.  Yesterday, I did non-stop barre, pointe exercises, a few jumping and turning combinations, and pilates.  This morning I did a regular barre, lots of center work, more pointe exercises, and my dance conditioning program.  All this was done in the comfort of my own bedroom. This weekend I'm going on a mirror hunt.  I can't wait to be able to check out my line while I'm dancing to make sure every thing's working and looking the way it should.  Oh wait, on second thought maybe not!;)
I'm also hoping to splurge on a portable dance floor.  Money's tight and I need to pay for classes.  Yes, I still take those.  Is it possible to find a good deal on quality dance floor?  I really hope so.
My room definitly gives away the fact that I'm a ballet dancer.  Of course the ballet barre is a clue that can't be missed, but I also have my ballet posters, figurines, magazines, and books.  I have to say, I'm really loving the theme here.

  3. sounds incredible!! I was daydreaming just yesterday about how when my husband and I move, first thing, I am going to Lowe's and purchasing one of those enormous mirrors that people hang in their entry ways and then I am ordering a portable barre from Amazon - And of course insisting that we only rent a place with hardwood floors - so that I can create a pseudo ballet studio :) (my apartment now is too tiny to create a real dancing space :(
